It deserves the endless bashing it receives online, and after watching the series in its entirety, I have full confidence in saying that it’s the worst version of Spider-Man I’ve ever seen. Spider-Man Unlimited is a loose sequel to Spider-Man: The Animated Series which aired on Fox Kids from 1999 to 2001. The truth however, is that it is a bad show. The whole synoptic storyline was never explained, and never really made much sense. It’s interesting to note the episode is called “Destiny Unleashed” and not “Destiny Unleashed, Part One” like it was originally slated to be, but to be blunt, the cliffhanger was so poorly done I really don’t that it never got resolved. Spider-Man Unlimited was a short-lived American animated series featuring the Marvel comic book superhero Spider-Man. The rest of the episode, however, is simply exactly the same as we’ve seen in the previous 13 episodes, before a random cliffhanger suddenly emerges from out of nowhere, never to be resolved.
